THE PROJECTS YOU WILL WORK IN
Our laboratory studies the cells that compose the blood vessels of the retina. We are interested in understanding the mechanisms by which the interactions of these cells become defective and lead to retinal pathologies such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Using fundamental and translational approaches, our goal is to discover and characterize new therapeutic targets to prevent and cure vision loss.
